Join us for a free workshop by the incomparable Alan Osterholtz and special guest model, Tiffany Berntsen. Watch and learn as Alan demonstrates his unique alternative capture processes leveraging slow shutter, light painting, painted backdrops, smart LED bars, and other creative tools. Many viewers are surprised to learn that Alan’s imagery is captured in a single frame, with real-world practical lighting and no compositing of any kind.
During this workshop, multiple projectors provide you with a live view of exactly what’s happening during the capture as well as a direct feed of the images from the camera. Take the opportunity for a glimpse into the mind of a true light alchemist, then stick around for an extended Q&A and to apply what you’ve learned yourself, with hands-on mentorship.
