August Third Saturday: Portfolio Development Workshop with Pat Berrett and Friends (Free, Limited Seating!)

Join Pat Berrett, Diedre Michelle, and Tim Anderson for an afternoon of free presentations on how to develop a portfolio.. for photographers, models, makeup artists, and anybody else in a creative field! (Limited Seating RSVP Required – see below)

Schedule:

• 12:45 – 1:30pm Pat Berrett will discuss types of portfolios (passive or active) (commercial, fine art, modeling, make up, etc.) and how to create portfolios that meet both your needs and the needs of your target audience. We will discuss which images will work best for your target audience based on the type of work you do.
• 1:30 – 1:45pm  Break
• 1:45 – 2:30pm Diedre Michelle will discuss portfolios for models. She will talk about how to determine what kinds of images you need to reach your target market and how to determine which photographers you should work with to get those images.
• 2:30 – 2:45pm Break
• 2:45 – 3:45pm Tim Anderson will discuss fine art portfolios and how to present your work to galleries and magazines. Time will then do short portfolio reviews if you have your portfolio with you.
• Following the presentations all three presenters will be available for individual questions.

Pat Berrett is a commercial and fine photographer with over 40 years’ experience working for a multitude of clients.

Diedre Michelle is the owner of DMe Talent, a SAG-franchised boutique agency based in Albuquerque, NM.

Tim Anderson is the publisher of Shadow & Light Magazine.

This event is 18+, BYOB (21+ to consume.)

After the presentations…

Stick around after the presentations, and enjoy free open studio time from 4:00pm-8pm. No RSVP is required to attend the latter portion, but you may reserve a specific studio timeslot on the Member Resources Page.
